Position Summary:

Join Fairfax Behavioral Health today and provide help, hope and healing.  We currently have an available opportunity for a Registered Nurse, House Supervisor role in our Kirkland, WA hospital.

This is a .6 FTE (12 hour weekend shifts) part time position in Nursing Administration and is eligible for benefits.

We are looking for a highly motivated House Supervisor (R.N) who is a registered professional nurse from an accredited college or university. Your related education and experience will support your ability to plan, problem solve, coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The House Supervisor must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of all patients served. The House Supervisor oversees the provision of care of the facility and has supervisory responsibilities for Nurses and Program Specialists. You will need a WA State Registered Nurse license as well as CPR, Handle with Care and Verbal De-escalation program during the orientation.

 
Requirements

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • A minimum of three (3) years experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.  Leadership/management experience as a House Supervisor also preferred.

Required qualification for this position include:

  • Registered Nurse license to practice by the WA State Board of Nursing. Currently licensed to drive with a valid driver's license.
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledgeable on all standards of care by Joint Commission, state licensing/regulatory agencies
  • Must pass a medication administration exam and complete a basic developmental competency exam
  • Handle with Care and De-escalation training within 30 days of employment.
