The House Supervisor functions as the administrative representative for the organization when administration is not present or readily available. The RN House Supervisor shall oversee and guide nursing employees to facilitate the facility goal of efficient patient throughput and quality care. Responsible for interacting with hospital staff and/or ancillary departments regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts by identifying and assisting in the resolution.  Responsible and accountable for maintaining performance skills. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.

1.      Current license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas

2.      BSN required

3.      3 years of hospital RN experience required

4.      2 or more years of supervisory experience

5.      Must have current BLS certification upon hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
