Roxbury is a unique inpatient facility offering acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehab services for adults. Our inpatient psychiatric program for adolescents is designed to treat youth ages 13-17 in a caring and nurturing environment. Our medical team is composed of board eligible/certified psychiatrists, PAs/CRNPs, and nurses that provide close medical monitoring and the highest quality of care to our patients.

Roxbury is recruiting nurses to work on our acute psychiatric units. We currently have full-time, part-time , and per diem positions available. Shifts are 12 hours with every other weekend rotation for full- and part-time. Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited licensed registered nursing program. One year prior experience in inpatient or mental health nursing, preferred.  Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a licensed registered nurse.

Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste. General hospital environment.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Physical agility to manage patients. Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping. Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen.
