POSITION SUMMARY: Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Job Requirements

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

1.          Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN required, or must be enrolled and complete within

2 years.

2.          Current license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas

3.          Possess current BLS certification upon hire and maintain certification throughout employment

NRU:   Minimum of 2 years experience acute care setting with critical care experience preferred

              All clusters: HWC and verbal de-escalation completion within 30 days of hire and maintain throughout

              Employment.

              ACLS and PALS completion within 6 months of hire and maintain throughout employment.

              NRP within 9 months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
