Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare of MS, a 107-bed acute psychiatric care facility. Licensed by the state of MS, Brentwood is leading provider of quality psychiatric treatment services specializing in treatment for adults, children and adolescents. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve optimal mental health, resulting in improved quality of life. Our dedicated team of professionals provide individualized treatment, meeting the personal needs of our customers in a safe and nurturing environment.

A staff or charge R.N. plans, provides, and evaluates direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for the hands-on delivery of patient care in the assigned unit. Provides, directs, and guides patient teaching, discharge planning, and care planning for specific patient population served on the nursing unit. Insures that high standards of professional nursing are maintained. Supervises the MHT’s as assigned. Further contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts and Quality Management efforts.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a Roistered professional nurse in Mississippi, preferred a BSN with one

Experience: Preferred one year related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, crisis management with aggressive behaviors, CD inpatient, residential or group home setting.

Additional Requirements:
All PRN employees are required to provide availability at least 4 shifts per month, with one shift being a weekend, and two holidays per year.
