Position Summary: This experienced RN will work this winter season temporarily at our winter premium rates and provide patient care based on competencies and according to Lakewood Ranch Medical Center policies, standards and philosophy. MUST HAVE 3 YEARS CURRENT PRIOR HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE . Have a demonstrated track record for Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. - Ability to integrate nursing theory into practice using nursing process. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to problem-solve and work effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians. - Ability to plan and organize work. - Ability to work independently and in teams. Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.

ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP (or obtained within 90 days of employment) in required specialty.  ACLS required for all departments except Nursery.

Current American Heart Association BLS required at time of hire.

New RN Graduates must complete ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP within 180 days per required specialty.

Current active Florida nursing license.

Non Violent Crisis Intervention Training (or obtained within 90 days of employment) in required specialty.

Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
