West Hills Hospital is a 95-bed acute care inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Reno, Nevada, specializing in behavioral healthcare and substance abuse treatment options for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Job Description: The RN Shift Supervisor assumes responsibility for complete facility operations during the day shift. This includes supervising nursing and clinical staff, ensuring that patient care is provided in an accurate and timely manner. This position has responsibility for the supervision of care of patients ranging in age from preschool through geriatrics..

 
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in nursing, Bachelor's preferred
  • Nevada RN licensure
  • A minimum of one (1) to three years experience in an acute hospital setting; preferably in a psychiatric facility. Supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license in Nevada.
  • BLS certification within 90 days of employment
  • Must pass a medication administration exam
