Key Responsibilities:


Duties include but not limited to: Management of the waste program which includes oversight of the Hazardous Waste Contractor and refuse/recycling program. Involvement in accident/incident investigations and near miss reporting. Perform waste disposal facility audits. Conduct monthly invoice review and track against the annual budget and volume expectations. The job also entails the conduct of EHS audits of Sodexo services on the account which includes contractors hired on our behalf. Involvement in EHS audits by different audit teams within the clients’ staff. Combine your proven leadership and Facilities Management technical expertise to enhance existing (or new) client programs including short and long-range planning, construction/renovation projects, preventative and corrective maintenance, energy management, grounds and landscaping, janitorial, mail room operations, shipping and receiving, laboratory services and data center management services.

Position Summary

This position manages the safety programs (physical & food) for an assigned geographic territory. Provides input from technical expertise for the continuous improvement of company safety policies, standards and requirements. Must be able to help management identify safe/unsafe conditions as well as safe/unsafe food handling practices. Investigates incidents (i.e. injuries, foodborne illness, etc.) and provides expertise on causative factors or correlated factors, and insight on appropriate corrective actions. Communicates safety information to all levels of management within assigned geographic territory. Knowledgeable in and applies company policy, federal, state, and local codes and standards involving the safety of employees, the public and the foods served.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 

Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
