You will have a minimum of six years of experience working with/for System Integrator and/or Consulting Firm and ideally with experience at a large OEM manufacturer and will possess both a business background that enables engagement at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that promotes relevance to sales organizations both within Cisco and our partner community. This candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

<b>Who You'll Work With</b>

The position, Sales Business Development Manager (SBDM) – Consulting Firm specialist, is responsible for evangelizing and enabling partnerships with Consulting Firms and System Integrator companies to drive new routes to market, Identify and build new offers while aligning these partners with ISVs, Cisco Field Sales and key Cisco partners to create partner to partner business opportunities within America Partner Organization (APO). You will also be responsible for assisting Cisco Sales and Partners on joint sales calls and Executive Business Reviews. The role reports into the Manager – Ecosystem and Acceleration, which is part of the Americas Partner Org (APO). You will work cross functionally with the Global & Strategic Partner Organization, Global Partner Organization, Services, Business Units, Marketing, and Sales.

Working and delivering results in the areas of Technology, Sales Business Development, Alliances, Consulting

  • Intimate working knowledge of System Integrator and/or Consulting Firm business models
  • Strong technology strategy skills with specific focus on digital disruption and the role Cisco has to make an impact
  • Software Sales Experience with proven knowledge in System Integrator and/or Consulting Firm routes to market
  • Business Application Expertise
  • Workflow and Business Process Expertise
  • Proven ability to work within a geographically distributed and matrix environment, strong influencing and collaboration skills
  • Strong program management experience in leading complex relationships
