Primary Responsibilities:
  • Educate Brokers on new business requirements (daily)
    • Act as a back up to the AE - Answer case specific questions and work strategically with brokers/clients concerning new group submissions --- also respond to general questions about implementation
    • Assist with status update requests
    • Broker has a tax document question.
    • Broker has a payroll/quarterly wage & tax question.
    • Broker has a general participation question.
    • Broker needs the Multi-Choice plan grid.
    • Broker needs appointment paperwork for All Savers or Fully insured.
    • Submit appointment paperwork for All Savers or Fully insured.
    • Brokers needs a benefit summary
    • Any another misc. forms needed by a broker
  • Answer case specific questions and work strategically with brokers/clients concerning new group submission (daily)
  • Point person to help redirect phone calls to appropriate contact
  • Order enrollment materials/directories/give-away's for General Agencies (daily)
  • Assist with creating/formatting powerpoint presentations
  • Process Agent/Broker of record changes
  • Scan new business submissions received at health plan
  • Arranges all coordination for vendor representation
  • Assembles and maintains broker presentation kits (as requested by AEs)
  • Serves as local contact for Agent Appt and Licensing
  • Serves as local commissions contact for agents
  • Order SBC for 51-99 groups
  • Pull Broker Book of Business Reports Quarterly (UA Reports for Reps)
  • Pull quarterly medical bonus for specified agents (as requested)
  • Aprimo leads
  • ATLAS updates
  • New hire welcome kits
  • Purge/Terms files to Iron Mountain
  • Ordering of Office Supplies
  • SME for special projects ( i.e. assist with organizing broker advisory council or rollout meetings)
  • Benefit Summaries – email, translate requests, print/mail
  • Order Enrollment Kits 
    • New Business 2-99 (UHC and AS)
    • Renewals 2-50
    • Kit orders and supplies for GA’s
    • Manually put rush requests together and mail out
  • Secondary person for BSL

  • High School Diploma/GED required           
  • Must possess Texas Resident Insurance license or ability to obtain license within 60 days of hire       
  • 1+ year of experience in a Administrative or Sales support role           
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Word (Ability to create and edit documents)           
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Excel (Ability to filter, sort, create and edit spreadsheets)          

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)           
  • Account Management experience
  • Broker or Insurance experience
