Job Description

General Duties Include:

  • Collecting data from internal/external contacts, formatting the information into spreadsheets, and coordinating monthly reports within tight timeframes
  • Support Unit Manager as needed with reporting, scheduling, completing expense reports
  • Support Location Managers with miscellaneous ad hoc requests
  • Work with complex and confidential documents or reports
  • Facilitate New Hire on-boarding & orientation
  • Payroll (KRONOS) Administration for location hourly employees
  • Balancing of payroll using multiple reports and databases to pull information
  • Sales Comp Administration for commissioned employees
  • Serve as liaison for all frontline location job requisitions
  • Maintaining location DOT files via First Advantage
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations: Sales Presentations, Project planning support
  • Typing of letters, memos, flyers
  • Coordination and tracking of special events for location
  • Back filling cashier process
  • Management of Safety / Workers Compensation files
  • General office functions, such as telephone coverage, faxing, filing and distribution of mail
  • Subject Matter Expert for Customer Information Database for Roanoke, VA & Johnson City, TN
  • Subject Matter Expert for Customer Disputes Roanoke, VA & Johnson City, TN


Specific Skills and/or Previous Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Excellent computer skills a must- Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Outstanding organizational skills (time management and follow up)
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to compile and analyze data plus pull reports from various systems with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude align with a friendly disposition
  • Be comfortable working within a fast paced and highly entrepreneurial organization
  • Must be able to use downtime effectively by contributing and assisting with the heavy workload of other departments and/or team members
  • Excellent attendance and flexibility with schedule to arrive early/stay late to meet critical deadlines, sometimes with little notice
  • Demonstrate initiative, strong multi-tasking skills, good judgment, sense of urgency and professionalism
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Focus customer service orientation
