Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) is PepsiCo's beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States, Canada and Mexico. This position will be part of the National Retail Sales Organization.

Description:



The Sales Analyst will work with and support the Director of Sales for the Pepsi Costco Direct Store Delivery (DSD) business:

  • Support Pepsi system supply chain and demand planning teams
  • Communicate with the Field(PBC & Independent Bottlers) frequently regarding forecasts, new item launch, inventory replenishment, deliveries, etc.
  • Lead weekly calls with PBC Markets to identify ADAS opportunities and track progress
  • Actively participate in all supply chain and demand planning weekly calls with national supply chain/production/demand planning team to solidify upcoming Costco activity and forecasts
  • Support DOS with PBC/FOBO field communication regarding sourcing locations, launch timeframes, inventory support, Inventory ID, contract operations supply support, delivery inquiries, etc.
  • Play active role in Demand Planning and Supply Chain meetings/conversations/etc.
  • Play active role in forecast development/implementation for new item launch, rotations, upcoming promotions, innovation, seasonality.
  • Work with Regional Inventory Control Specialist(Costco) to ensure accurate and timely arrival of inventory and planning for events
  • Work with Regional Inventory Control Specialist to build by warehouse by source forecast for MVMs, new item launches, innovation, rotations, etc.
  • Active role in supporting Costco field customer service, and elevating service support concerns to the PBC/FOBO field, while providing Costco updates on progress to solve with regard to inventory & deliveries.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 Years DSD(Sales or Operations) Experience(Field Sales, Customer Service, Delivery Operations, Supply Chain); Interaction and understanding of Demand Planning & Supply Chain
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to understand and translate delivery performance, identify opportunity & risks, and adjust develop and implement detailed accurate forecasts for demand/supply team
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and collaboration skills with PBC regions, Franchise bottlers, and Customer
  • Time Management/Organization: Solid capability to manage and prioritize schedule
  • Support Systems Literacy: Computer literacy, Excel, Power Point, Word, ERT, Business Objects(SAP), Document Viewer, Local Order Entry(LOE), willingness and ability to learn/quickly adapt to other internal support systems
  • Flexibility and forward thinking to work in a new and changing environment with Costco's new Centralized Buying Structure.
  • Strong support skills in working with Director of Sales to activate National Plans to filed(PBC/IB)
  • Communication Skills: Communication across all formats(meetings, presentation, conference, planning session, weekly calls, direct communication with field, etc.)
  • Strong Change Management Skills: Follow Up, Follow Through, Accountability, Sense of Urgency, Rules of Road driven
  • Ability to provide new ways of approaching situations and developing new efficient solutions
  • Independent & motivated individual; ability to receive direction and convert into an action plan with coaching and feedback
  • Develops strong relationships/partnership for overall success of the team & customer
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
