Who You’ll Work With

Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) is taking big steps to position Cisco as the #1 IT Security provider in the industry. In addition to having the right market conditions, capabilities, products and services, we need the right people to take us there.

What You’ll Do

  • You will be responsible for Partner Sales Management and Development for select, large, strategic GSSO Global Strategic Partners
  • Create impactful incremental security revenue to Cisco through named large Partners
  • Establish new relationships that will lead to incremental revenue for Cisco
  • You will carry a quota
  • Additionally, you will be evaluated on whether the relationships that you have established or grew have contributed enough incremental revenue to make the quota

Who You Are

  • Experience with sales to, with, and through Managed Security Services Providers is highly desired
  • Must be able to develop and evolve long-term strategies while consistently driving tactical projects
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to build strong relationships across multiple teams in an organization.
  • Self-motivation, creativity and a determination to reach goals and objectives with limited management intervention are critical to success 

  • Thorough understanding of Cisco field sales organization (GSP preferable), with proven track record in field engagements is required
  • Between 20% and 50% travel required.
  • Requires prior experience recruiting and managing business partnerships, including negotiating contract terms and conditions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 10 years experience in high tech software sales, sales management or quota carrying business development – experience working with security software is required
  • Position is virtual, should be based in the continental United States
