The Early in University (EIU) Internship Program targets first, second and third year University students. This program exposes you to real, meaningful work that directly affects your assigned team. Along with sales team experience you will work within your intern groups to research and present solutions to tackle customer challenges. During this summer program, you gain exposure to Cisco technology, sales and the chance to network and learn from top sales leaders within the organization.

  • Gain a broad experience in various aspects of sales and consulting
  • Work with Sales and various global teams and cultures on common goals and issues
  • Deliver on results and don't be afraid to think outside of the box
  • Ability to tackle stretch projects and be creative individually and in a team environment

Who You Are

  • You are in your first, second, or third year of studies toward a BS or MS degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance or related area.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher with excellent communication skills
  • Your have a real passion for technology
  • You are a creative thinker and problem solver
  • Strong skills: Communication, research, influencing, leadership, organization, adaptability, flexibility and highly self-motivated
  • You are detail oriented, inventive, and able to prioritize under deadlines
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, team work, ability to work in collaborative environment - all with a positive attitude
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal), as well as fluent in local language for country of application and must be able to legally live and work in the country for which you're applying, without visa support or sponsorship. (student visas or visas obtained on your own are not applicable for the program.)
