The Director of Industry Relations and Communications will lead PepsiCo Foodservices Industry Relations activities, including being the Face of PepsiCo to the Foodservice Industry at Industry Conferences, Tradeshows and other events.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To develop the strategy and execute the annual plan for PepsiCo Foodservice Industry Relations
  • To represent the Foodservice division externally to partnering trade associations, as well as interfacing with key customers and media sources to ensure that PepsiCos image and brand standards are reflective of direction set by PepsiCo Corporate
  • Equally important, this position must establish credibility within the various associations so that he/she can leverage that credibility and respect by creating an avenue to position the Foodservice divisions senior leaders in front of the industry
  • It is incumbent of this position to communicate the divisions objectives and strategic priorities established within the Strategic Business Plan at across the Foodservice industry (e.g. Trade shows, conferences, seminars, online/digital, etc.)
Specific tasks also include:
  • Communicating and collaborating within NAB, FLNA, NAN marketing teams, communication teams, etc. so that PepsiCo brands (and the PEP Foodservice division) are represented at national tradeshows and based on annual planning objectives
  • Building and aligning internally on IR budget (e.g. recommending a prioritization for the Industry Relations activities and budget) and executing against the aligned budget/priorities
  • Working with supply partners to design, build or update national tradeshow booths each year
  • Periodically interfacing with the Government Affairs department occasionally


  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • At least 10 yrs. experience in the Foodservice Industry, in a customer facing (Sales) role.
  • Prefer experience managing Industry Relations function on behalf of a large company.
  • Proven track record of proactive networking within an industry, and large complex selling.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Effective Team leadership skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize work
  • Excellent follow-up and project management abilities
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Adaptable to rapidly changing environment
  • Creative Problem Solver
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
