Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) is PepsiCo's beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The Sales Manager for Allied Brands is a key contributor driving a portfolio of brands with significant volume and revenue for the Pepsi system including Muscle Milk, Ocean Spray, Fruit Shoot, VOSS and Bundaberg. These allied brands are a critical component of PepsiCos total LRB portfolio with leading trademarks in scaled and growing categories. The Sales Manager will work closely with allied partner brand teams and the internal Allied Team to ensure we are driving growth and positioning the brands for future success. This is an excellent opportunity to gain general manager experience with and exposure to cross functional groups throughout the organization including supply chain, legal, finance, revenue management, CCO and field sales. This role also provides a very unique chance to work with external brand partners and build capability in managing relationships, balancing priorities and influencing the long-term strategic brand agenda.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Lead the day-to-day relationship with select allied partners managing the business across functions including sales, finance, supply chain, etc.
  • Contribute to AOP planning and developing the long term strategic vision for allied brands
  • Lead the commercialization/communication process for allied brands on innovation, package optimization and promotions including IMS development, sell decks, Sightline, First Focus, etc.
  • Analyze category and brand performance to unlock package, price or product opportunities to drive incremental volume
  • Partner with Region and Customer leads to drive flawless execution of the brands and field programming

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience; preferably with a consumer packaged goods organization
  • Previous people management experience

Skills & Capabilities:
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Superior time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan.
  • Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement, and commitments (internal/external)
  • Excel experience to support analytical skills; ability to translate insights to actionable materials
  • Strong presentation skills, both in development of compelling stories and delivery
  • Strong ability to work within and be successful in a highly matrixed environment
  • Internal candidate with Field Sales experience
  • Experience with commercialization or brand leadership a plus
  • Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time and receive information clearly and concisely
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
