Description:

ADP is hiring a Sales Project Specialist. Every day, thousands of organizations around the world rely on ADP. Using analytical and project skills, the Sales Project Specialist provides a wide variety of specialized services to the Sales team, existing ADP client base as well as the prospect/future client base. The Project Specialist uses his/her understanding of Small Business Services business environment, sales process, project and analytical skills to achieve business targets and increase overall efficiency. In addition, the position requires systems and product knowledge to provide services which fulfill the needs of Sales Management and Sales Representatives (District Managers). The Project Specialist uses effective communication and organizational skills to keep Sales, Client Service, Regional Operations, and the Central Operations Group associates abreast of project progress.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivers sales and technical support services to Small Business Services sales associates and its clients using multiple processes and systems
  • Delivers or assists with value-added project services to Small Business Services division
  • Maintains project plans and periodic progress reports and proactively communicates project's progress to the client (internal and external)
  • Manages self to the completion of tasks as directed. Provides timely and accurate input on project status.
  • Uses effective communication skills to advise and update sales associates, management and clients of status and potential issues. Maintains a customer-service focus at all times in order to ensure sales proposal and implementation can proceed in a timely manner.
  • Perform clerical, administrative and office duties of a responsible and confidential nature
  • Route and answer correspondence
  • Independently establish, organize and maintain files and initiate follow up as needed
  • Compile, analyze and summarize statistics and information
  • Communicate new policies and procedures to the department and coordinate the gathering of information as directed,
  • Create formulas/formats of moderate complexity and determine hardware/software requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Services, Business Administration, Marketing, HR or related required. One to three years of experience with ADP Employer Services or equivalent work experience in professional environment required. System certifications in Access or SQL a plus.
