Sales Specialist

What You'll Do
In this position, you will be facilitating the success of Cisco sales teams in selling Enterprise Networking products and technologies (SDWAN, SDAccess, Routing, Switching, WLAN, Meraki) with measurable sales objectives for the regions you support. The ideal candidate will be quick to identify opportunities, able to manage people and prioritize opportunities, highly capable as a trusted consultant and mentor to salespeople, and committed to improving the competency of the team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing a business plan to meet and exceed assigned quota. A successful Cisco IT Platforms Sales Specialist will plan sales strategies, develop proposals, deliver customer presentations, and close the business.

Who You'll Work With
One Winning Team Engagement - Effectively facilitating joint initiatives with cross-functional teams (Services, Customer Value Acceleration team, Capital, Partners, etc.) and strategically engaging cross functional resources to achieve their goals and hit their numbers.

You will work well in teams, understand Cisco's Enterprise engagement model and be able to create a win-win environment with key Ecosystem and Partners. You will have passion for driving strategies; a strong personality with demonstrated leadership skills working in a complex matrix organization; a strong presence and credibility established with the client base and internally.

Minimum Qualifications:
● Minimum five to seven years experience in the Enterprise Networking Arena. Technical selling in cloud solutions, SaaS, or IaaS strongly preferred.
● Proven track record in managing and winning major opportunities, with the ability to work unsupervised; ability to interact as a value-added team member
● Ability to manage a long and complex sales cycle that include both product and services

● Experienced in multi-level selling, comfortable influencing CxO, IT Managers, Purchasing, etc.
● Excellent written and verbal communications skills - Good listening and strong presentation skills.
