Senior Manager & Team Leader – PRC, Hong Kong & Taiwan, Cisco Capital APJC

What You’ll Do
The Senior Manager will lead the marketing team within Cisco Capital APJC (Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China), responsible for a team of 4 FSMs across PRC, Hong Kong and Taiwan. This role will be responsible for the overall integration, alignment and Executive relationships with the Cisco Partner and Marketing organizations ad will carry a personal and team target. The incumbent must be able to balance customer needs with channel partner requirements and mid to long term sales enablement for Cisco. The ability to lead and grow a team of experienced, high performance financial sales and marketing professionals is an essential requirement. The ability to work, integrate with and influence the Cisco APJ Partner and Marketing VPs and operate effectively as part of their Management Teams is critical to success. This person will sit on Cisco’s Greater China Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve business goals by meeting and exceeding sales quotas, managing linearity, and maintaining forecast accuracy,

- Grow ongoing Cisco Capital customer base,

- Leading, coaching and grooming a team of Financial Sales and Marketing professionals, the candidate will be responsible for supporting a business with annual financing volumes of approximately USD150 million with a market opportunity to grow it to $300m in the coming years,

- Meet with customers to negotiate pricing, documentation and deal structuring,

- Work with Cisco Capital credit, legal, pricing, & operation to ensure highest ethical standards are met,

• Create, maintain and expand Executive level relationships with Cisco Channel Partners, Cisco Partner Organization and Marketing Executives 
• Drive annual contra negotiations within Cisco, engaging heavily and gathering support from Partner Organization Executives and Cisco Finance with detailed business justification and business case preparation 
• Drive high financing attach rates and new financing offers adoption by Cisco Channel Partners 
• Presenting financing sales strategies/products/programmes with Channel Partner CXO’s in order to drive up financing attach rates 
• Be able to influence key decisions within the Cisco Partner Organization and effectively execute business strategies
• Engage/recruit new partners (resellers, service providers, distributors, and influencers) to offer financing as part of their sales strategies
• Develop and deliver training to partner sales forces in conjunction with Cisco Systems
• Organize end customer seminars in conjunction with partners
• Jointly develop targets, conduct pipeline reviews, and drive financing volumes in concert with Cisco channel partners
• Clearly communicate company vision, go-to-market strategy and execution plan with team;
• Act as role model to team; reinforcing Cisco culture and implementing best practices;
• Build a collaborative culture amongst sales and the cross functional teams (Credit, Operations, Legal etc.) 
• Develop innovative approaches that enhance collaboration with partners and employees
• Create a culture of excellence in an environment of collaboration and open communication

Who You Are

• Minimum 10 years’ experience with at least 4 years in a leadership role with strong leadership skills in a global teaming environment
• Overall sales experience working at an executive level 
• Good knowledge of local and global financial markets. Requires understanding of Enterprise, Public Sector and Service Provider customers’ business and financial drivers 
• Developing long term relationships at an executive level with Cisco Channel Partners
• Understanding of the technology industry and particularly Cisco’s vision and strategy
• Able to work in a matrixed organization which values collaboration and diversity of ideas
• Work well in a fast-paced, multi-cultural organization. Prior experience in such a role is desirable
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is required

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required 
• MBA or equivalent is preferred
