Description

The Sales Trainer- Client Success Market Readiness helps drive the successful adoption of new and evolving capabilities delivered through key business initiatives by analyzing technical training needs, creating and updating curriculum, and delivering training programs in a variety of mediums and formulates standardized training programs and development plans to supplement sales employee development. The ideal candidate will excel in collaborating with boundary partners and project teams to understand technical systems and processes, develop training scope and planning, build training curriculum expediently in an agile IT environment, and deliver training curriculum to sales professionals both virtually and in-person.

Responsible for the technical training strategy and curriculum for sales team members: 

  • Contribute to system requirements by leveraging expert level system knowledge
  • Prepare training curriculum, job aids, presentations, videos, and/or podcasts; maintain a library of training aids
  • Ensure effective coordination of training needs analysis and delivery methods with business partners

Ownership of tools and technology training delivery for sales team members:

  • Gain and maintain expert level knowledge to become a subject matter experts of Sales systems and tools
  • Plan, develop, and provide training using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops
  • Responsible for review and sign-off of SalesForce.com Walk Me tutorials
  • Scheduling of training sessions, both in-person and virtual training

Collaborate to determine training readiness and adoption:

  • Participate in user acceptance testing sessions to ensure user requirements are met
  • Provide input into market readiness and go-to market strategy and decisions
  • Collaborate to define success metrics for training initiatives to ensure user adoption of new technologies


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, IT, Business, or related field
  • 3–5 years related experience with training in a professional environment
  • Experience with one or more Collaboration tools is mandatory (ex: Join.Me, GoTo, Skype)
  • SalesForce.com experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The candidate must have a proven track record in of impact and effectiveness on large scale enterprise wide information technology business transformation programs. 

 
  • Facilitation Skills: Proficient delivery of classroom-style training and adept at delivering and engaging adult remote learners via e-learning platforms
  • Job Knowledge: Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and curriculum development techniques, training techniques and ability to suggest enhancements to existing training programs
  • Training Design: Skilled in writing proficiency, visual graphics design, and creative talent
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, especially with public speaking and moderating large groups
  • Sales Expertise: Understanding of Sales team methodologies, capabilities, and employee behaviors
  • Technical Skills: Ability to understand and explain technical platforms and impacts of changes to end users
  • Flexibility: Flexible and adaptive approach to building training content in an agile environment
