Job Details

The Sanitation Line Coordinator will coordinate the operation of the sanitation department to support manufacturing. When necessary the Sanitation Line Coordinator will assist with cleaning to ensure impact to Operation is minimized.

+ Coordinate the operation of the sanitation department to support manufacturing to minimize downtime.

+ Organize and direct the placement of personnel to ensure activities are efficiently and effectively are being completed timely.

+ Reviews and approves necessary form to ensure cGMP.

+ Assures that sanitation colleagues are trained and certified for assigned roles.

+ Ability to effectively communicate work instructions and coordinate the work of others.

+ Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.

+ Assist with performing cleaning to ensure impact to manufacturing is minimized.

+ High School Diploma required

+ Must have at least 1 year of production and/or Q.A. experience with Hospira or a comparable industry

+ Must have at least 6 months of experience within the applied for production/sanitation unit or must be successfully performing the minimum of a level "D" job or equivalent for a minimum of 12 months

+ Must have the ability to perform arithmetic calculations

+ Must be conscientious, dependable, and possess leadership skills

+ Must have the ability to effectively communicate work instructions and coordinate the work of others

+ Must be able to work overtime on a daily basis and weekly basis for extended periods of time

+ Must adhere to all safety and health practices and procedures

+ Capable of making sound decisions while being able to access situation(s) to determine if management involvement is needed

+ Candidate must be able to act with ownership in their areas of responsibility

+ Candidate should be able be proactive with preventing delays and/or downtime of equipment

+ Ensuring adherence to all plant safety rules in area of responsibility

+ Must be able to function under a stressful situation while being able to remain focused at the necessary requirements. In addition, must be able to appropriately identify and escalate issues on a timely basis

+ Must be able to work on weekend, off shifts and holiday as business demand
