Job Description

Food safety

  • Back-up Document Specialist for F22k Food Safety Programs
    • Responsible for assisting Doc. Control Point
  • Maintain and enhance QSHA Programs 4.1, 4.5, and 4.6 as Point Person
    • Sending out appropriate scorecards
    • Following up on opportunities
    • Assist Sani SCL in compliance
  • Set-up required annual training for Sanitation Team
    • PEM/ATP/Chemical Training
  • Maintain, update, enhance Food Safety Files
  • Facilitate Food Safety Maintenance planning meetings
  • Support Sanitation SCL with Crewing for Weekend Sanitation
  • Other duties/projects assigned by Ops Staff/SCL Team
  • Backfill for other Administrative positions
  • Preventive Control PCQI Point
    • Responsible for weekly review of PC Programs
      • Kill Step Logs
      • PSM audits
      • Sanitation Records of cleaning Pkg/Proc.
  • Generate Weekly Preventive Control CAPA Log
People Scheduling
  • Support people scheduling function as follows:
    • Schedule manufacturing personnel specifically on weekend shift transitions from 1st to 2nd shift & 2nd to 3rd shift
    • Call in or transfer employees to fill unexpected crewing outages and/or call off employees if not needed
    • In depth knowledge of manufacturing contract language as pertaining to scheduling
    • Promote efficient crewing to reduce OT and unneeded labor hours

Workweek: Thursday-Sunday


Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Solid computer skills in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Demonstrate leadership, dependability and commitment to CI
