As part of this group, you will predominantly be involved in programming analytics designed to detect fraud, waste, abuse and error in medical claims. You will be a primary contributor in developing, testing and deploying key data warehouses, data marts and will be working with cutting edge technology. This role will prepare you for significant career growth.

This is a unique development role where your knowledge of SAS and analytic design helps to ensure correct payment of medical claims and keep the healthcare system working properly for everyone.  
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze business requirements
  • Architect and design Data Warehouse infrastructure and solutions
  • Develop technical specifications and design documents
  • Develop, enhance, and integrate Data Warehouses/Data Marts and Business Intelligence Solutions
  • Test analytic code and data structures
  • Deploy and maintain Data Warehouses/Data Marts
  • Perform data analysis of claims history to substantiate fraud and abuse allegations
  • Program analytics, models, and algorithms for claims analysis
  • Lead projects to completion by contributing to database creation, statistical modeling and financial reports
  • Prepare accurate reports to detect and identify fraud trends, analysis of those trends and risk mitigation recommendations
  • Presentation of findings  to clients
  • Create and update automated processes within databases
  • Use reporting tools to analyze large data sets 
  • Assist leadership staff in developing and maintaining specific work procedures, policies and process improvement projects
  • Reports activities to leadership on a regular basis
