Description:

The Fleet Supervisor contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by overseeing the regular and preventative maintenance of all fleet equipment in order to fulfill customer needs. This person manages mechanics in the South Florida Market.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Demonstrates knowledge and trains others in troubleshooting, repair procedures and preventative maintenance for fleet equipment
  • Ensures equipment and individual compliance with all environmental,
  • Department Of Transportation (DOT) and Health and Safety regulations
  • Manages performance standards to support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory compliance, safety and Fleet standards
  • Communicates effectively with other operations groups in support of overall plant goals
  • Achieves or exceeds target results related to cost, asset preservation, breakdown, preventative maintenance and vehicle availability


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ year's work experience in a supervisory position
  • Strong bi-lingual communications are required
  • Required Previous fleet maintenance experience a plus
  • Demonstrated in depth technical maintenance knowledge
  • Strong coaching and development skills
  • Experience in consumer packaged products or similar industry preferred
  • Strong employee relations, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment
