Job Description:
Arbour Counseling Services works with various public schools throughout Massachusetts by providing their clinicians to conduct behavioral health services directly in school systems. Arbour works with various ages groups enrolled in Elementary School, Middle School and High School. Arbour Counseling Services currently has position available for qualified candidates in  schools around the Woburn area. Arbour is the largest private mental health system in Massachusetts. patients aged 5 and over.

Arbour Health System, a Division of Universal Health Services, is the largest private mental health system in Massachusetts. We provide a continuum of care that includes evaluation, crisis stabilization, and treatment for patients with mental illness, dual diagnosis, and/or addictions. We are looking for an independently licensed  clinician who is dedicated, focused, and entrepreneurial to be our Assistant Director in our School based Program. This position reports directly to the Center Director. You will be a valued member of the Woburn site team!

Some of your duties may include

  • Assists in direct clinical supervision to Staff that results in a high quality of care and compliance with record keeping requirements
  • Recommends appropriate action or review of any staff member whose performance does not meet expect.
  • Assists in continual growth of the program by coordinating marketing and staff recruitment effort.
  • Promotes the success of the program through fostering and maintaining referral source
  • Makes clinical decisions in the context of program goals and philosophy 
  • Provides competent case management as exemplified by timely follow-up and by coordinating treatments with referral sources and collaterals.
  • Assists in setting and monitoring productivity levels of staff to ensure delivery of clinical services in a timely manner.


  • Masters Degree in psychology, social work, mental health counseling or related field
  • Experience working with children in a community health setting 
  • Applicants must have own properly insured vehicle and clean driving record
  • Applicants must have valid Homeland Security documentation. We do not sponsor employees.
Active Independent Licensure - LICSW, LMHC, Lic. PsyD/PhD
