Description We are seeking a highly motivated scientist with experience in murine models of immune-oncology or immunology to join the immunology group at Rinat, a Pfizer biotech research until in South San Francisco. They will contribute to the discovery and research and development of innovative, protein-based immune-oncology therapeutics. The candidate will design and execute in vivo studies of immune-targeting in both murine and/or humanized mouse tumor models.



**Education and Experience**



+ BS in biological sciences with 6+ years' of experience, or MS with 5+ years', in industrial or academic setting

+ Biology degree specializing in immunology, or cellular and molecular biology preferred

+ Prior experience in the fields of molecular biology, immunology, and/or cancer biology highly preferred



+ Experience in maintaining a mouse colony, and with tissue necropsy is preferred

+ Hands on experience with syngeneic and xenograft mouse models of cancer including sub-cutaneous tumor implantation and/or orthotopic tumor models, tumor imaging measurements, i.v. or i.p. drug dosing, survival analysis.

+ Experience with PK and PD studies is highly desired

+ Proficiency with tissue harvest and cell dissociation is strongly preferred

+ Technical expertise with mammalian cell culture immune cell functional assays, multi-color flow cytometry, cytokine release, cytotoxicity and proliferation assays strongly preferred, ELISA, MSD or Luminex is preferred.

+ Experience with analysis software such as FlowJo, Graph Pad Prism, Excel is required.

+ Must be highly motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.

+ Must be willing to learn and adopt new experimental techniques.

+ Experience with basic molecular biology techniques, cell binding, transfection and lentiviral transduction is highly desirable.

+ A willingness to learn and adopt new experimental skills as needed is essential.

+ Ability to work with laboratory rodents for extended time.

+ Very good record-keeping of studies using electronic lab note book

+ Excellent verbal and written communication of results to manager and other team members in the group.
