The Design & Development Solutions Team (DDS) is a part of the Global Business & Technology Services organization. DDS provides development and support for company-wide and business unit applications. This position is for a Scrum Master to work with application development scrum teams.


Primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Facilitate the transition of new and existing projects to an Agile way of working.
  • Coach the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
  • Enable the Scrum Teams to deliver higher quality, higher value software faster, by maximizing the benefits received from Scrum.
  • Assist in Agile Iteration and Release Planning; provide Program Manager guidance in creating artifacts; capture team capacity hours for the planned upcoming release and for each sprint therein; facilitate team breakout sessions with an eye on process and related best practices; provide coaching where needed
  • Coach teams and management towards improving Agile process and metrics.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer science or business-related discipline.
  • Experience with the Scrum Master role for at least 1 - 3 years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM)
  • Working knowledge of JIRA
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques with the Scrum approach (example: Burndown charts, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation & mentoring skills.
