What You'll Do

The Security Account Manager is responsible for direct sales of entire Cisco Security Solutions portfolio into their named account list as well as overall nominated vertical market. This candidate must be able to forge and grow direct touch with major target accounts to drive revenues for the Cansac region (Central America, North South America - aka Andean, and the Caribbean).

This is a great opportunity where you will have the chance to:
* Develop a strong sales plan including both existing as well as potential customers in your assigned region
* Drive revenues through new account and/or project acquisition
* Forecast and report activity carefully, accurately and in a timely manner as requested
* Identify major projects within the largest accounts and manage activities to maximize Cisco product and services revenue
* Provide customers with pricing and configurations to meet their needs as required whilst utilizing the companies Sales Engineering resources to maximum affect
* Forge high-level relationships within existing accounts to win incremental Cisco business for our Products and Services
* Partner with Cisco account teams, authorized Distributors, VARs and ISP's on sales opportunities to leverage their capabilities
* Build and execute on a business plan for the region and market sectors to maximize revenues specifically including marketing activities to generate awareness and demand for Cisco's Security technologies

Who You Are
If the following describes you, apply!
* Experienced sales person with at least 5 to 7 years of software or security sales in the assigned market.
* Direct touch sales combined with the ability to work with a motivated channel
* Experienced selling complex software-based solutions such as endpoint (EPP, EDR, etc), network security (Intrusion Detection, Firewall, VPN, and related technologies), Web Proxy, Email, or Network and Systems management solutions preferred
* Proven/Quantifiable track record of over-achievement in at least 5 of the last 7 years
* Track record in closing major end user customers for projects running to more than $750,000
* Able to create and execute on a go to market plan which ramps up and builds upon momentum created, leveraging marketing resources, collateral and development funds
* Adept at communicating with a largely technical audience
* Experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to maximize corporate revenue growth.
* Good all round knowledge of Security Market, Channel and End-Users
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
* Ability to travel 50-75% of time is required
* A Bachelors level degree or equivalent technical qualification
* Professional sales training e.g. Strategic Selling, Power Base or Target Account Selling (TAS)
* Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory
