Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) is taking big steps to position Cisco as the #1 IT Security provider in the industry. In addition to having the right market conditions, capabilities, products and services, we need the right people to take us there.

What You’ll Do


You will be responsible for strategic Sales Business development for GSSO Global Sales organizations

Create impactful incremental security revenue to Cisco through growth acceleration programs
Establish new relationships that will lead to incremental revenue for Cisco
You will be aligned to specific growth targets

Additionally, you will be evaluated on whether the programs that you have established or grew have contributed enough incremental revenue to make the growth targets
Who You Are


Experience with sales and business development is highly desired

Must be able to develop and evolve long-term strategies while consistently driving tactical projects

Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to build strong relationships across multiple teams in an organization.

Self-motivation, creativity and a determination to reach goals and objectives with limited management intervention are critical to success 


Thorough understanding of Cisco field sales organization, with proven track record in field engagements is required
Between 20% and 50% travel required.

Requires prior experience recruiting and managing business partnerships.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
10 years experience in high tech software sales, sales management or quota carrying business development – experience working with security products and software is required
Position is virtual, should be based in the continental United States
