What You'll Do

As the Segment Operations Manager you will directly support Sales on high touch, large, and complex deals.  You will  lead initiatives related to process improvement or strategic business improvement.  As CPS Segment Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of the following CPS service offerings: 

  • Develop and manage customer Operational Account Plans for Quarterly alignment into Sales priorities and opportunities
  • Lead internal Operations Reviews (QBRs) to senior/executive management, presenting analysis into Key Performance Indicators and articulating top opportunities ahead
  • Assess strategic / critical deal pipeline to capture operational support requirements, Sourcing, sensing and assessing strategic deals across product, service, software and solution offerings of Cisco considered strategic to the business
  • Supervise OneCanada performance indicators, delegating actions across internal teams to ensure SLA’s are met, and identify any re-occuring trends to optimize service offering and adoption
  • Facilitate short-term fixes and leverage lessons learned from critical business escalations to drive long term fixes
  • Facilitate live internal workshops to improve performance on key operational engagements and/or metrics
  • Lead efforts to propagate tailored information on upcoming changes in tools, processes, and policies to sales teams
  • Coordinate and track adoption of new or improved processes, capabilities, and policies with Sales through virtual review and/or training
Who'll You will work with

You will consult with one or multiple Sales segments with direct engagement and be the primary operational point of accountability for internal Cisco stakeholders (i.e. supply chain).   ·        

Who you are
You will need to understand Sales needs deeply and translate into actions to be performed by all operations.  You will need a familiarity with navigating the formal and informal channels of an organization’s communication and decision-making channels. A   proficiency in leading and maintaining a set of projects requiring cross-functional partnerships with proven experience in guiding and/or training teams face to face or virtually.  Ideally experience in DMAIC driven methodologies to lead continuous improvement in large corporations and a basic understanding of Cisco’s portfolio of Product, Software, Services and Solutions is highly desirable.        

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent years of related work experience
  • 5+ years related experience in consulting, optimization
  • Project Management certificate preferred
  • DMAIC certification preferred
  • Relevant language proficiency
