What You'll Do

You will safeguard legal entities, by ensuring compliant accounting processes for both US GAAP and local reporting. During monthly processes, you will ensure that all parties are working together to appropriately reconcile accounts, reflect business transactions in the books properly and perform a diligent closing and review process. You will ensure appropriate local reporting is provided to country authorities for financial statements and taxes. Being a key point of contact for legal entities within your scope, you will ensure all business partners are cooperating to ensure compliance and continuous improvement initiatives are being driven in an efficient and effective manner.

Who You'll Work With

If you join us, you will work with multinatinational teams, both internal and external. You will liaise and cooperate with subject matter experts in various countries and teams in Finance and Non-Finance functions, incl. Tax, Treasury, Sales Finance, Payroll, HR as well as local teams in countries under your scope. You will be reporting to the Financial Controller responsible for Western Europe Countries, based in Krakow.

At minimum we require:
● 8 years accounting experience with strong accounting knowledge
● Ideally, a minimum of 3 year’s relevant working experience gained in an international oriented environment. 
● Ability to quickly interpret and understand local requirements and valid treatments for both local and US GAAP purposes. 
● Collaboration across teams by ability to communicate effectively and to listen and understand concerns and issues (essential) and ability to work with others in a formal process for solving issues and problems
● IT and systems expertise: Ms Office including Excel (essential), Hyperion (advantageous), Oracle (advantageous).
● Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (essential), other languages (esp. Spanish) advantageous.
