Position Title: Senior Accounting Associate/Billing Analyst

Job Location: New Jersey-Newark
The QMA Finance department is currently seeking a Billing Associate to perform a variety of tasks that includes accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts receivable, cash applications and invoicing, as well as ultimate accrual and posting of data to the general ledger (Oracle). This position is responsible for accounts receivable system (Revenue Manager) testing, evaluation, and process improvements as well as ongoing maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
Functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Prepare and Review monthly and quarterly management fee invoices.
  • Interpret investment management agreements and create client profiles within Revenue Manager System
  • Follow up with Clients on past due invoices
  • Verify and apply daily cash payment on outstanding invoices





  • Support the Receivables close process including review of reconciliation of the sub-ledger to the General Ledger
  • Prepare monthly schedules related to Aged Receivables, Accruals and Cash payments
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end and ad hoc deliverables




  • Identify and resolve issues or inefficiencies within the revenue system.
  • Evaluate accounts setups within billing system and recommend adjustments, training and process improvements as needed.

Ad Hoc:


  • Handle and complete special projects as they arise.
  • Participate in annual external audit process

  • 2-5 years related experience in Billing, Accounting or Operations
  • BA in Accounting, finance or related topic
  • Asset Management experience a plus
  • Knowledge of REDI2 Revenue Manager, Oracle General Ledger or EAGLE a plus.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite; advanced excel skills required.
  • Exceptional analytic, organization and problem solving skills.  Must be detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data to Manager.
  • Customer focus and high degree of responsiveness.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations.
  • Willingness to take on additional tasks and functions as needed
  • Overtime may be required during peak periods.
