We are looking for a highly motivated, resourceful, team oriented Senior Administrative Assistant to support Prudential Advisors’ Worksite Marketing and Education team.


In this role, the Senior Administrative Assistant will:


  • Provide executive level administrative support to both the Vice President and Director, Worksite Marketing and Education as well as other members of the nationwide-team including: Account Executives, Program Managers and Marketing Specialists
  • Manage a wide range of administrative support tasks with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Be responsible for all aspects of schedule meetings, including: reserving meeting rooms, ordering/confirming catering services, and preparing meeting materials
  • Provide general administrative support, including but not limited to, data entry, filing, ordering supplies, monitoring inventory levels and reordering marketing material as needed, filling marketing orders, monitoring departmental voicemail and responding to routine inquiries
  • Serve as division resource on administrative issues which will include oversight of seasonal contingent workers, including the onboarding and offboarding of these individuals
  • Assist with departmental projects as requested


This Newark, NJ based position reports directly to the Director, Worksite Marketing and Education.




  • 3 years administrative experience
  • Proven track record of working independently with minimal supervision, exercising discretion and sound judgment
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and mindfulness of deadlines.


  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment with ability to maintain professional demeanor


  • Experience in a financial services company is a plus
