Description

The Analytics & Insights team is responsible for data driven strategic thinking and insight across multiple touch points at Cox Media Group (CMG). Specifically, we:

● Lead the development and evolution of our CMG’s digital measurement platforms.
● Derive insights from research and data that provide holistic views of performance across experiences and channels.
● Support CMG business units in understanding digital audience data and leveraging insights that inform digital strategy.
● Support data visualizations for CMG business units and advertiser clients.

The Sr Analyst, Audience and Engagement is responsible for working daily with various stakeholders associated with projects under the audience growth and engagement team. These efforts are focused on finding the best ways to serve our audiences in a multitude of ways from content to design/UI. The Sr. Analyst will be tasked with creating measurement plans associated with projects supported by the audience growth and engagement team and delivering the results of the projects. This will be one of the “go-to” positions within CMG to understand measurement strategies and outcomes of projects under the audience growth and engagement team.

Job Responsibilities
-Work with various stakeholder groups to advise on and determine the measurement plan for projects supported by the audience growth and engagement team.
-Be the main analytics point of contact for all projects associated with the audience growth and engagement team.
-Exhibit strong analytical, project management, storytelling, and communication skills.
-Provide thought leadership around analytics, optimization, and other areas involved with growing and engaging digital audiences.
-Develop, manage, and distribute data and insights derived from the projects supported by the audience growth and engagement team. These projects range in focus from content creation to content suggestions.
-Regularly communicate (daily, weekly, monthly) the progress of various projects under the audience growth and engagement team and clearly articulate findings to a wide variety of audiences with varying degrees of analytics, UX, and optimization knowledge.
-Partner with other groups to collect, synthesize, analyze, and present overall digital audience trends as required by each project.
-Liaise with other CMG departments, such as research, to provide insights about optimization efforts of our brands and trends of our consumers.
-Maintain positive, collaborative partnerships with key internal stakeholders and clients.
-Leverage various industry research to provide information and/or recommendations about vendors identified by the audience growth and engagement team as potential partners.
-Keep up to date on best practices for digital audience measurement.
Qualifications

Qualifications
• 4+ years experience in digital media with an emphasis in web analytics preferred 
• 2+ years of experience working with optimization tools to run A/B and multi-variate tests.
• Knowledge around user experience principals and trends in the media space.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate information – both written and verbal – to multiple audience types.
• Ability to quickly shift between responsibilities that demand longer term strategic vision and immediate tactical decisions/work.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or equivalent work experience a plus.
