Scope and Responsibilities: 


The Senior Business Analyst will support the business and Supply Chain Management Distribution Department with systems administration, detailed analysis and reporting. The position will monitor pricing, product listings and key ingredient lists that are communicated with our Distributor partners.  The Senior Business Analyst will also support the business with the implementation of a variety of other initiatives and strategic programs as called upon.  The Senior Analyst will report to the Director of Distribution and Commercialization and will be based in Toronto, Ontario. 


Specific Responsibilities:


  • Compile data to formulate detailed analytics of inflationary impact to products and services utilized by the business
    • Complete detailed internal reports and summaries to Aramark stakeholders on inflationary changes in costs
  • Support requirements to ensure the accuracy and consistency of distributor pricing and product offerings, including:
    • Issue product listing requests
    • Monitor contract pricing
    • Insure correct contracted distributor mark-up calculation
    • Initiate, monitor and ensure appropriate credits and adjustments
    • Develop and coordinate information within custom distributor partner channels/systems
  • Assist in directing the business toward purchases of preferred/contracted products
  • Work with Aramark Culinary department on effective implementation of Key Ingredient Lists nationally
    • Ensure product listings
    • Source alternatives when required
    • Monitor and maintain Key Ingredient Lists
    • Communicate changes and revised requirements of KIL lists
  • Maintain good working relationships with multiple stakeholders, and work collaboratively with a cross-functional team
  • Analyze and asses Aramark price competitiveness on new and existing client bids or proposals



  • Minimum 4-5 years of direct experience in data analysis, quantitative analysis, interpretation and communication.
  • Experience and strong knowledge of the food or distribution industry preferred
  • Exceptional ability to organize, sort and analyze large databases
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, specifically data evaluation, matching transformation, analysis and reporting
  • Ability to translate statistical and analytical results into clear written and verbal communication
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Strong ability to participate in multiple projects/initiatives of varying size and complexity, while simultaneously meeting conflicting deadlines in a diverse environment
