There are very few places, if any, where you can bridge physical and digital experiences for hundreds of millions of users. Our team builds products that empower customers online and in over 5000 Walmart stores. Our products include the flagship Walmart mobile Apps, Scan & Go, Store Maps, Store Search, Store Pickup. We are a data-driven team and we constantly improve our products based on user data and feedback. Moreover, we experiment with new features and technologies and scale successful products rapidly.

We are product focused and expect our fellow engineers to be involved in all parts of the product development from product requirements and design to implementation and testing. We adapt new technologies and our work includes challenges in the areas of mobile app development, great UX, customer experience, app performance, scalability and architecture.

We are a team of skilled engineers building mobile products for customers who shop online and in Walmart stores. We are looking for product focused mobile engineers who share our passion to build high quality products and ship fast.

Demonstrates expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of Walmart e-Commerce Apps

Executes Mobile Engineering projects

Participates in the discovery phase of small to medium size Mobile Engineering projects

Building high performance, cool looking UI to meet e-commerce business requirements.

Participates in peer code reviews and work efficiently with stakeholders.

Provides mobile engineering support to the business

Troubleshoots business and production issues for mobile appsMinimum Qualifications:Minimum Education and Experience required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience building scalable e-commerce applications or mobile software

Experience with mobile software development using Java, Kotlin.

Experience using distributed source code version control systems (Git/Github)

Experience with the agile methodology and scrum

Experience with development of mobile network clients using HTTP, REST APIs

Experience with Google Play Services.

Experience with software debugging techniques (debuggers, loggers, crash report tools, Fabric)

Experience with analysis of memory issues such as memory leaks using memory analyzers tools (DDMS, MAT)

Experience with Android software development ecosystem. Android Studio, Gradle.

Experience in design patterns, MVC, data structures and algorithms.

Experience in unit and integration testing Android code. Test Automation.
