Working with some supervision, applies established knowledge of laboratory techniques such as HPLC, dissolution, moisture by KF, and others to perform product stability testing. Candidate will be responsible for understanding and performing routine analytical testing for stability samples, evaluating and documenting results in a timely manner.

Understands and follows all SOPs and written test procedures. Performs testing within established standard test times and maintains quality and productivity at acceptable levels as communicated by the supervisor. Executes troubleshooting of instrumentation and will be expected to maintain laboratory equipment in good working condition.

Executes laboratory investigation steps with appropriate approvals and with some guidance from supervisor. Understands the investigation process and begins to learn/assist in preparation of laboratory investigation documents.

Keeps supervisor fully informed of all results and project status on a daily basis and reports critical information in a timely manner. Begins to learn how to multi-task. Will be expected to perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor (e.g. assist other colleagues with laboratory investigations, provide input for sample scheduling, perform peer review, training of other colleagues, learn SOP writing and author SOPs, participate on laboratory teams

to review and enhance systems within the laboratory, other special projects as they arise.).


2 yrs relevant experience with BS, >3 yrs with AS or >5 yrs with HS diploma.

Candidate must have good oral and written communication skills. Previous pharmaceutical, quality control / stability experience a plus. The following technical skills are also preferred: working knowledge of dissolution, chromatographic techniques, HPLC, computer and/or data handling acquisition systems, and cGMP.


Routine laboratory work while standing, walking, sitting, and lifting less than 10 lbs.
