Description Development for and maintenance of mission critical custom financials and supply chain applications that leverage Technology and Products such as Java, J2EE, Oracle EBS, JDA (Red Praire), JDA Manugistics, Oracle SOA Suite, Forms, Reports, Workflows, Alerts, PL/SQL, OBIEE, OAF, ADF, ODI and graphical user interfaces, middleware and frameworks to provide essential functionality for internal financials and supply chain clients



**Roles and Responsibilities:**

• Work with BSA and DBA teams to develop defect-free code to meet the functional design

• Provide input for production related issues

• Work with key members of various departments and other members of the IT team to identify and resolve application issues, system enhancements, and new user

requirements

• Work with Performance DBAs to tune code to meet SLA

• Developing and testing detailed technical design for business solutions

• Work with BSA team to ensure solution is built to spec

• Planning, design and execution of data conversion activities



**Key Competencies and Skills:**

JDA - Manugistics



The candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of experience with developing technical programs using :



• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

• Unix scripting

• Oracle database



Additional skills and qualifications required:

• BA/BS degree required.

• Experience in interfacing with Planning systems and ERP Systems

• Written and oral communication skills, business requirements gathering

• Ability to write unit test scripts and execute the tests

• Manage customer expectations, and providing status reports and effectively prioritize work with Internal customer

• Strong understanding of the JDA SCPO schema and table structures required

• A proven understanding of SDLC and Change Management methodology preferred.

• Ability to work occasional week-ends and varied schedule required.

Oracle



The candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of experience with Oracle EBS modules :



• Oracle Inventory

• Oracle Order Management



Additional skills and qualifications required:

• BA/BS degree required.

• Experience in interfacing with Planning systems and WMS Systems

• Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL etc (candidates with “techno-functional” experience will be preferred – 20-30% technical expertise; 70-80% functional expertise)

• Strong understanding of supply chain planning fundamentals

• Written and oral communication skills, business requirements gathering

• Solving business problems with application (Oracle EBS) functionality

• Driving small & large teams to solutions on production and project issues, including teams of internal business customers, IT testing & development teams

• Manage customer expectations

• Providing status reports and effectively prioritize work with he internal customer

• Strong understanding of the Oracle Supply Chain/Financials schema and table structures required

• A proven understanding of SDLC and Change Management methodology preferred.

• Previous project management experiences a plus.

• Ability to work occasional week-ends and varied schedule required.

• Occasional travel may be required



**Education and Qualifications:**

Senior level technical expertise. Education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Required to work in the 1pm to 10pm shift IST
