The Financial Consultant reviews and may assign the work of others and provides recommendations for improvements as well as supervises orients, trains, mentors and coaches staff for all ASO products. Acts as a key liaison and collaborator to business segments and departments, including legal counsel, compile and report financial results, negotiate financial obligations, ensure financial controls, perform additional oversight on behalf of the business, surface issues and lead defect resolution.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them
• Lead the non-ACIS Banking unit in the resolution of complex functional and technical challenges in support of the overall requirements and objectives of ASO Banking
• Maintain g/l reconciliations and prepare journal entries
• Serve as first point of escalation for procedural and technical issues, and coach staff to effectively resolve the issue
• Maintain a positive work environment that supports a quality driven team and identify issues that may inhibit an individual’s or the team’s performance
• Provide support in the completion of system enhancements or other improvement projects
• Partner with internal leaders, customers or vendors to improve on financial outcomes across the enterprise
• Evaluate, improve and/or maintain existing processes, procedures and reporting practices, understanding the reporting needs of the end user
• Independently represent the business internally and externally with legal counsel, consultants, brokers and senior management
• Support annual and financial audits 

Required Qualifications:

 

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and/or equivalent education and experience.

• 3 plus years of experience

• Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills, and ability to balance multiple priorities.

• Ability to communicate with all levels of internal/external clients including senior management.

• In depth understanding of business specific data and processes.

• Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office suite.

• Works with less structured, more complex issues.

• Ability to solve complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analyses.
