SUMMARY:







This role provides the successful candidate with an opportunity to work in the exciting and rapidly evolving field of immuno-oncology; where he/she will play a key role in driving success for the BAVENCIO brand in its current in-line indications for Merkel call carcinoma and urothelial carcinoma as well as helping with launch preparations for two upcoming potential indication launches in non-small cell lung cancer and gastric cancer.







BAVENCIO (avelumab) is a PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor and Pfizer Oncology's lead immuno-oncology asset which is being co-developed and co-promoted through a global alliance partnership with Merck KGaA (EMD Serono, US subsidiary). BAVENCIO (avelumab) is part of a very large clinical development program evaluating its potential as both a monotherapy and combination therapy across a wide range of tumor types and treatment settings.







RESPONSIBILITIES:







As Senior Brand Manager your role will be to meet or exceed both financial and strategic objectives for BAVENCIO, identify opportunities and flawlessly execute the marketing strategy in collaboration with our co-promote partner. Your ability to build effective relationships with cross functional stakeholders within Pfizer and at Merck KGaA / EMD Serono will be key to your success.







This role requires the application of in-line marketing expertise and customer insights to advance key brand imperatives and support brand performance. It requires strong strategic and analytical thinking as well as creativity and decision-making skills, along with a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing tactics and working in a team-based environment with both internal and external stakeholders. Scope of responsibilities will include some of the following:







+ Digital / multi-channel marketing



+ Media planning and execution



+ KOL / customer engagement



+ Congress planning and execution



+ Peer-to-peer programs



+ Support and coordinate co-promote operations



+ Budget management







QUALIFICATIONS:







+ 5-7 years of pharmaceutical experience required



+ Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred



+ Previous in-line US Marketing experience



+ Oncology experience preferable, but not required



+ Demonstrated success in developing, executing, and measuring complex and innovative marketing programs



+ Demonstrated ability to manage advertising and other agencies to produce communications that impact business performance



+ Strong team player with ability to engage colleagues from a wide range of functional areas and backgrounds



+ High-energy self-starter who has the initiative to function autonomously and the confidence and ingenuity to initiate, create and bring ambiguity into action



+ Solid business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, including field colleagues, senior management, and external partners
