The Senior Brand Marketing Specialist, Cox Automotive Inventory Solutions Group, will nurture and strengthen the Manheim brand and product offerings through disruptive, breakthrough, image advertising, omni-channel communications, and internal and external activations. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about building brands and has a proven track record of implementing new identities and brand positioning across large organizations to drive positive team and client experiences.  This individual will work closely with business partners across the entire organization to help unify our brand identity and ensure our voice, content and activities consistently deliver on the brand mission, beliefs, and values.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee brand architecture, identity and style guides, serving as partner to all business/product teams to ensure all programs and communications are on-brand, aligning with our mission and consistently reflecting the approved visual identity and voice.
  • Develop and execute brand marketing strategies, initiatives, and tactics across all channels (includes print advertising, digital advertising, video, SEO, content marketing, social, web, industry events, field locations, and more).
  • Create, coordinate, and manage an integrated brand marketing calendar that captures all brand-building activities and communications across the inventory solutions group
  • Cultivate brand ambassadors by training and coaching field promotions teams and other key stakeholders on fundamentals of brand management
  • Develop annual advertising investment plans with media agency to deliver maximum ROI
  • Lead planning and execution of 2-3 national promotions a year to drive revenue goals
  • Manage the day-to-day activities associated with the brand marketing efforts, including project management, creative development, execution, approvals, tracking and reporting
  • Regularly report on key performance indicators related to brand equity and affinity
  • Work collaboratively with Creative Studios to develop briefs, oversee development and ensure on-brand, on-time, on-budget execution of all initiatives
  • Manage media creative rotation to ensure right message, right time
  • Ensure cross-functional integration of brand to align with Field Sales, Inside Sales, PR, Product, Field Marketing, Trades/Events, Key Account Marketing, and Community Relations
  • Engage, inspire and galvanize the organization around the brand vision, position and strategies so they are clear in bringing them to life in their areas of functional expertise
  • Participate in client learning and research studies to analyze and find new insights to maximize brand equity
  • Contribute to development of an operating plan and budget
  • Manage and coordinate expenses for project budgets or part of a larger budget
  • Assist in the accomplishment of company objectives by performing other related duties as assigned.
  • Travel 10 - 25% of the time to visit national auction sites, attend sales meetings, meet with key clients, manage creative development, attend industry shows and other events.


  • B.A. Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.  MBA a plus.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience launching and building B2C and B2B brands
  • Both client and agency experience preferred
  • Experience with large multi-location or franchised organizations
  • Strong project management and executional capabilities
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong collaboration skills; team player with a client-centric focus and the ability to develop partnerships in a matrixed organization
  • Able to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Solid knowledge of print, social media and digital strategies
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete multiple tasks at one time, meet deadlines, and adapt to priorities that change often
  • Shows commitment to self-development with demonstrated desire to learn new approaches, and staying abreast of competitors/industry news and implications
  • Project Management, Media planning, Content Management Software
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Adobe, SalesForce, Exact Target, Sprinklr)
