Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and implements the appropriate Payment Integrity solution for initiatives through in-depth end-to-end process knowledge
  • Researches and responds to inquiries and makes referrals to appropriate resources
  • Actively participates in program / project related meetings / discussions
  • Meets FWAE savings targets
  • Supports intake processes to vets’ concepts to ensure appropriateness and alignment with the Program Optimization Team’s operational capability
  • Research and take appropriate action to LEAN out the process
  • Initiate and performing data validation and quality control checks
  • Participates in strategic planning with regards to program development
  • Play a key role in designing new deployment plans or re-designing existing ones to facilitate the execution of programs / projects
  • Identify and provide input on project / program level reports
  • Prepares project / program level reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Build methods to monitors project progress for tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions
  • Provides project management support to complex programs for specific workstreams and deliverables
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) or High School Diploma with 5+ years of equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in a business analysis role with at least 2+ years of experience working within in the medical industry as a business analyst
  • Experience creating pivot tables, creating formulas, and merging data within Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Visio (create process flows with multiple swim lanes)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (create and modify presentations)
  • 1+ years of experience providing data analysis and modeling for applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with project management preferred
Soft Skills:
  • Previous experience identifying process improvement in a fluid and dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong project management skills and an entrepreneurial, self-motivated attitude
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated teamwork skills
  • Ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work and present effectively with all levels of leadership, as well as, business partners in other UHG entities
  • Ability to understand and influence the necessary and appropriate actions
  • Proven ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment
  • Program / project success; a bias for action is critical.
