Primary Responsibilities

  • Project Manage the E2E process and collaboration efforts between Clinical Services and Network Management and other impacted areas during the various stages of facility terminations
  • This role is a key contributor to improving the customer experience and driving our Net Promotor Scores (NPS) through improved engagement, reducing abrasions and creating efficiencies in our clinical service model
  • Working closely with Healthcare Economics (HCE) to obtain necessary market reports to track and monitor facility relationships and potential impact to our clinical operations
  • Identify and remediate clinical abrasion issues with our business partners including tracking trends, progress of issues, and providing executive summaries and performance results
  • Collaborate with corporate communications regarding member and provider talking points
  • Engage legal to address regulatory, compliance and contractual issues
  • In addition to supporting the E2E collaboration between Clinical Services and Network Management, this Project Manager will also manage individual projects that contribute to our UCS process solutions and NPS efforts
  • Lead or contribute to the development of program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g. program/project scope, charter, Statement of Work, Business Vision Document)
  • Work with Clinical Leaders to drive the identification of the skills, duration and effort required for successful project execution
  • Collect, analyze and maintain financial forecast information (e.g. labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sources (ie; HCE and Workforce Management)
  • Work with stakeholders to establish/ quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods
  • Develop, communicate and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g. mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance)
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across various functional areas
  • Typically, employees in this function are working towards or have achieved certification in project management
  • Provides subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques
  • Makes presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and in scope
  • May manage vendor and service providers to define project scope and performance expectations
  • Incumbents maybe part of a project management office (PMO) in their business
  • Works with less structured, more complex issues and serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience using data and information to make business decisions
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Experience with Network Management/Provider relations 
  • PMP Certification
  • Visio
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Capacity to build trust and develop productive working relationships
  • Leadership skills and fluency in speaking with Leadership and Key Stakeholders
