Foundations headquarters is located just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, in the beautiful city of Brentwood. In the corporate office, you will find FRN’s Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Accounting, Business Office Services, and Admissions Center. Foundations Recovery Network is currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to analyze, interpret, and define existing business processes in order to determine how IT systems can best be used to support these processes. This role is responsible for conducting business analysis, system design, configuration and QA testing to support IT application implementations. We’re looking for someone who has a solid reputation for providing exemplary service to all users! Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Define, analyze, and evaluate existing business functions and processes and make recommendations to management on opportunities for process improvements.
• Meet with business partners, project managers, and vendor partners to determine project scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues, and lead prioritization of build items. Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team. This includes creating process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to the team.
• Perform functional configuration and process changes in applications to support business process.
• Provide support for existing application portfolio. This will consist of providing Tier III support and resolving break fix and enhancement requests.
• Provide training to end users for new system implementations or enhancements to existing processes and new functionality.
• Define testing strategy and participate in the execution of test cases as part of the Quality Assurance process.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Experience in business analysis with: Healthcare applications (EHR), accounting (A/P, A/R, GL, Insurance Billing) Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) administration, Payroll, Time and attendance, Marketing CRM Systems.
• Experience with project management concepts and methodology.
• Thorough understanding of Software Development Life cycle methodologies (SDLC) as adopted by the organization.
• Experience developing UAT, Test Cases and QA Testing
• Experience developing requirements and establishing traceability to the business vision.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficient with technical documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, support documentation, user guides, workflow processes and test cases.
• The ability to facilitate a critical communications role by interacting with users (business domain), project team members and development personnel (technical domain).
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, including conducting training or presentations to teams and to internal customers.
• The ability to ensure the requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous and capable of being implemented and tested.
• Strong knowledge and experience with relational database and SQL, ability to use report writers and query tools.


Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience supporting applications in Healthcare applications (EHR), accounting (A/P, A/R, GL, Insurance Billing) Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) administration, Payroll, Time and attendance, Marketing CRM Systems.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and push and pull loads.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time on both daily and overnight travel.
