Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Business Value Analyst (Technical Finance Analyst) to join our team in Dunwoody (Atlanta, GA). The Senior Business Value Analyst will blend deep financial data visualization skills with a strong financial analysis, reporting, and dashboard development background. The role requires creating and maintaining online reports and dashboards that house information on assets, financials, rationalization and other various data related to the defined organizational needs.

Job Summary:
This role requires delivering and supporting Technology Capability team financials and software assets in partnership with the project accounting, FP&A, team financials, business intelligence reports and dashboards. Strong partnership with internal business stakeholders, financial and business intelligence teams.
This role requires partnering with Technology capability teams, project accounting, and FP&A to deliver and support the development of creating and maintaining online reports and dashboards that house information on software assets, financials, rationalization and other various data related to the defined organizational needs.

Your Role:
• Understands and can communicate and report on operating and capital budget, forecast, actuals
• Understands and can communicate and report information re: current, future, and past resources
• Understands and can communicate and report on spend, trending, anomalies, adhoc queries, compliance and run rate information
• Work with software development teams and representatives to understand existing data and then create visually compelling and accurate reports and dashboards to support software asset metrics, historical data trend analysis, and identification of opportunities to drive continuous process improvement
• Partner with Project Accounting and Capability teams to identify key software assets
• Develop report templates and fit relevant software asset data into the templates
• Use in-house applications and tools to contextualize information in a manner suitable to executive audiences
• Identify key financial metrics measurements and develop methods to represent data in support of the measurements
• Establish, maintain and ensure adherence to application standards for data reporting


Qualifications

Tools we use: Microsoft Excel, OBIEE, Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience:
• 5+ years of professional business analysis experience required.
Expert level with Microsoft Excel is required including formulas, pivot tables, financial functions, design and formatting.
• Experience with supporting Financial systems, PPM systems and customer software development.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies preferred.
• Consulting experience is a huge plus.

• Assist the software development teams with developing KRI/KPIs to drive dashboards and reporting for various levels of management.
• Work closely within the various internal teams to develop key dashboards for their organizational areas
• Develop a deep understanding of Manheim applications, customers, and business processes within the areas of support.
• Establish positive working relationships with software development team members so that the team receives comprehensive information to build value measurements according to the requirements.
• Must have deep analytical and quantitative skills
• Must have solid knowledge of financial modeling techniques with ability to synthesize and communicate complex information
• Must be able to develop deep, structured, detailed, and fact-based analytics that include actionable conclusions and recommendations
• Understands Oracle OBIEE, Essbase and Clarity data models and create queries without assistance
