Description:

Join the Customer Value Center as a licensed Sr. Customer Relationship Specialist! We provide an exceptional experience to Prudential’s clients and distribution partners. The Customer Value Center is known throughout the Individual Life business within Prudential as being an elite team of Specialists with a strong knowledge base of Prudential’s life insurance products and procedures in processing and case handling. As a Sr. Customer Relationship Specialist, you will provide both basic and advanced product support and service to clients and distribution partners, highlight the features and benefits of their existing life insurance policies, and offer other options that Prudential has to meet each client's unique financial needs. Service is provided over the phone to both customers and distribution partners all across the country including Prudential Advisors as well as a variety of other distinguished financial firms and broker-dealers.

Becoming a Sr. Customer Relationship Specialist provides a comprehensive introduction to the financial industry through an extensive training program that allows associates to develop technical expertise, process knowledge and a solid foundation of Prudential’s life insurance products. Beyond training, there are on-going opportunities to collaborate in group training, call coaching, mentoring and personal development in order to further enhance your professional communication skills and deepen your technical knowledge.

A career path has been designed with this role which leads into other areas of the organization or the company such as Call Coaching, Product, Underwriting, Marketing and Sales & Distribution.  Associates within the Customer Value Center gain extensive experience with different processes and skill-sets, creating opportunities to expand career development into a stepping stone for advancement or a variety of leadership and management positions in many different areas of Prudential.

 

Prudential offers an extensive training program, which includes:

- Paid training (Both Classroom and Online) for your FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations and 50 state insurance licensing. All registration fees and materials paid by Prudential.

-12 week paid training on Prudential's life insurance products, systems and procedures.

-Continuing education credentials paid by Prudential.

-Ongoing coaching and career development including individual and group coaching sessions, opportunities to participate in mentorship programs, and paid personal development time each year.


Qualifications for this position include:

-Must have 5 years of call center and/or financial services experience OR must have 3 years of call center and/or financial services experience and 1 or more of the following FINRA registrations (Series 7, 6, 63, or 66).

-Excellent verbal and written skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

-Previous customer service experience.

-Outstanding active listening skills and the ability to engage customers to determine their unique financial needs and preferences.

-Proficient PC and keyboarding skills with ability to multi-task between multiple computer applications.

 

We also prefer, but do not require:

-Knowledge of life insurance products

-A college degree.

 

Hours:

-The hours of operation for the Customer Value Center are 7:00am to 7:00pm CT.

-Upon completion of training, the typical shift for new hires is 11:00am - 7:00pm CT.  Alternative shifts for new hires may be immediately available based on business need.

-Upon completion of training, Prudential offers many flexible work arrangements including compressed work week (four 10 hour workdays) and work from home opportunities.
