Its all part of our unwavering commitment to creating opportunities and bringing value to customers and communities around the world.Job Title:Senior Deployment Lead - Fresh FlowEmployment Type:Full TimeCity:BENTONVILLEState:ARPosition Description:Manages the collect supply chain flow from purchase order (PO) creation until delivery at stores and clubs for construction and fixture shipments by overseeing, monitoring and measuring supplier, carrier performance, and internal customer performance and load assignments; monitoring, tracking, and allocating workload based on business needs; resolving issues elevated by suppliers, carriers, distribution center, and merchants; and directing special projects and seasonal surges through the traffic team.

Plans departmental resource needs and peak flow plans by compiling demand versus capacity model using 3-6 month projections; conducting regular, tactical planning meetings with suppliers and replenishment teams about upcoming flows and key events; and collaborating with Merchandising and replenishment teams, Supply Chain, and suppliers to obtain necessary information.

Supports improving traffic management efficiency and effectiveness by providing ideas to the Strategy team and business intelligence teams based

on observed trends in the operation, supplier tendencies, carrier observations, and internal customers needs/demands; speaking at supplier conferences; participating in cross-functional projects to achieve supply chain and information Systems Division improvements, expense improvements, reduce inventory and improve lead times; and driving process improvements across the department.

Manages departmental expenditures within budgets by auditing, educating, and acting on supplier behavior as it impacts transportation costs; providing direct operational input into annual bid process for both carrier selection and data validation; overseeing departmental expenses such as wages, overtime, and supplies; and responding on weekends and nights to suppliers and carriers regarding transportation opportunities.

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for Transportation by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based

work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards;

coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.

Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door policy.

Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management (e.g., Logistics, Transportation) or related field and 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management or related field OR 9 years experience in Supply Chain Management or related field.
