What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to champion the digital transformation within our West Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa (WESA) Grains Category; leveraging digital expertise and previous dedicated digital role experience . Leading and working in collaboration with digital and media agencies and brand & digital teams in the local markets, the Digital Marketing Lead will have key responsibility for the re-development of owned digital platforms across WESA; aligned to new brand vision, create digital activation plans for key initiatives and create new nutrition grains 360 digital ecosystem framework for WESA. This role will report into the Senior Marketing Director.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Digital Marketing Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the re-development of owned digital platforms across WESA aligned to new brand vision, create digital activation plans for key initiatives and create new nutrition grains 360 digital ecosystem framework for WESA.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the regional category strategy for digital, working closely with the Digital Centre of Excellence and Local Markets.
  • Oversee the digital media planning, buying and digital content launches for all local markets and ensure adherence to regional strategy.
  • Lead the management of the WESA Quaker Digital Agency and identify with local markets local digital agency needs.
  • Lead creation, transition and management of multi-market websites and social pages.
  • Influence Global Groups to ensure digital application of activation plans and build close relationships with the BU teams to ensure flawless execution of the category digital plan.
  • Build strong partnership with European key digital media partners based on European JBP (i.e. Facebook, Google).
  • Encourage usage of new platforms and tools to unlock competitive advantage through data-led marketing, personalisation at scale and sophisticated audience insights.
  • Lead Test & Learn approach - drive continuous improvement through 'hypothesize and learn' and collaborate with local teams to integrate into each activation.

Qualifications/Requirements

We are looking for a talented Digital Marketing expert with a passion and knowledge for new digital trends and with the following skill set:

  • Strategist - creative, autonomous, results-oriented, with high capacity leadership to influence others, ensure teamwork, and build strong relationships.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills - engage and influence multiple stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
  • Cross-cultural abilities - able to understand different stakeholders needs, develop aligned plans in environments of diversity and uncertainty, and work with a positive \"make it happen\" attitude.
  • Project management - ability to lead multiple projects in a fast moving and ever changing environment with maturity and foresight to cope with input and changes, sometimes at the last minute.
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial - keen interest in brand engagement platforms, digital business models and new technology advances.
  • Media - extensive digital media knowledge and experience - would be beneficial if experienced in working on previous eco-system partnerships.
  • Data savvy - experience of using data to build campaign briefs, audience insights, digital media mix and user journeys across the digital ecosystem.
