*Role Description*

Hospira, a Pfizer company, is the global leader of injectable drugs and is committed to putting patients first by improving access and care worldwide.The Pfizer Essential Health (PEH) business unit Senior Director, Business and Commercial Analytics plays a significant, cross-functional role within the US Sales Operations/Commercial Excellence group collaboratively partnering with US Pfizer Injectables (PI), Account Management, Alternate Site and Puerto Rico leadership to maximize the performance of the business; achieve strategic goals and objectives; and deliver of commitments to the organization. He/she will be responsible for operational, strategic and executional leadership within the Pfizer Injectables business unit.In this high profile role, s/he will be self-driven, with strong business acumen, demonstrate the ability to interface and communicate effectively and build relationships with all levels of management, and is highly analytical, organized and knowledgeable about our market and business. The Senior Director will work in a complex environment and navigate within a matrixed organization to secure support and drive alignment on recommendations.S/he will manage all day-to-day activities and responsibilities for the Business and Commercial Analytics Team (BCAT) including direct management of 5 key colleagues that interface with all levels of the organization on a day basis. The position will oversee and develop strong recommendations and balanced approach to support Portfolio, US Accounts Management, Alternate Site, Puerto Rico and Pfizer Injectables Leadership to drive our value proposition with customers, grow revenue, capitalize on market events, and use data to support making the best decisions for Pfizer.



*Responsibilities*

Responsibilities include but not limited to:Responsible for working with the Pfizer Injectables, Accounts Management, Alternate Site, and Puerto Rico Leadership Teams to maximize performance of the business, achieve strategic goals and objectives, and deliver on commitmentsResponsible for leading the Business and Commercial Analytics Team to support analysis, market trending and overall review and reporting of business performance across the Pfizer Injectables' organization consisting of 170 molecules/700 SKUsEnsure that all data and analytics are aligned, implemented and drive performance within the Run the Business processes with BAT, Portfolio and PI LeadershipLead the Run the Business processes weekly and monthly with Finance and Portfolio and other teams to align on business performance, recommend changes to trends or business conditions so that adjustments to commercial plans can be made on a timely basis for all productsDevelop reporting and communication standards to run the business for internal sales reporting and present to leadership changes that require additional focus or efforts to mitigate/improve performanceDevelop strong partnership with Portfolio, Accounts Management and Payer Channel Access (PCA) to drive strong analysis and timely decisions to customer price changes, bids and overall growth opportunitiesLead the continuous improvement efforts for customer contracting and pricing changes defined processes as part of integrationGain and maintain understanding of customer accounts, sufficient to develop practical and effective recommendations for successful long-term customer partnershipLead the Latest Estimate (LE) and Operating Plan data collection processes with BAT, Portfolio and Finance including volume, price changes, and key product strategy changesDemonstrate and promote awareness of Pfizer Values and Own-In CultureThis position will manage 5 colleagues directly and will be responsible for their growth and development, and be expected to work across the matrix to build partnerships and sustainable processes.Expected travel 15% - 20%This role is located at the north suburban Chicago/Lake Forest, IL location; relocation provided



*Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree is required (degree in Finance, Statistics, Math or other highly analytical focus highly desirable)Strong leadership skills with 15 years of demonstrated successes developing a team10 years of broad experience in the pharmaceutical industry with emphasis on business analytics, particularly with large, complex data sets is required; excellent analytical skills including the ability to quickly synthesize data and market trends to determine the potential impact on the businessPower user of IMS data, chargeback data, AnalySource pricing data, Tableau, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience highly desirableUnderstanding the generic, multi-source product environment including product strategy, pricing and contracting including Group Purchasing Organizations (GPS's), distributors, and the interdependencies with national accountsTrack record of managing critical and complex projects in a cross-functional environment and able to create streamlined processesDemonstrated communication skills across various levels of managementHighly collaborative, strong experience in managing highly effective functional areas, projects and teamsAbility and eagerness to challenge status quo, make quick decisions, lead and operate successfully in an empowered organizationConsistently demonstrates and models the Pfizer valuesPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS This office position requires sitting, standing and walking. NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Position includes travel (15 - 20%)
