The Senior Director – Market Readiness, reporting to the Vice President – Client Success Operations, will be accountable for the adoption of new and continuously improved capabilities jointly developed by the Enterprise Process and Platform teams in the enterprise instance of our systems and tools across Cox Automotive.  In practice, this means being able to structure go-to-market, business readiness, and training and development programs in such a way to improve both the Client and Salesperson Experiences.  This role also sits on the Formula 1 (Prospect to Order) program leadership team.  Success in the role is ultimately defined by the improvement of our Salesperson Experiences via adoption of new prospect to order capabilities by sales people across Cox Automotive as they onboard to the Enterprise Instance of our systems and tools.


Accountable for the adoption of new and continuously improved prospect to order capabilities across Cox Auto:

  • Understand and relentlessly pursue the continuous improvement of the Client and Salesperson Experiences
  • Accountable for the creation and effective implementation of Market and Business Readiness plans
  • Collaborate with impacted user leadership teams to drive user adoption through planning and execution of adoption plans
  • Partner with Enterprise Process team to drive current and future-state processes gap analysis for informing business readiness
  • Partner with People Strategies and Change Management to develop stakeholder engagement strategies
  • Oversee development and execution of salesperson communication strategy
  • Oversee the definition, measurement, tracking and reporting of Market Readiness KPIs:

    • Responsible for success criteria tracking of the Prospect to Order (Formula 1) program
    • Help define performance goals, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Operational Metrics of Prospect to Order Program 
    • Monitor, measure, track and report progress against performance goals, KPIs, Operational Metrics of Prospect to Order program
    • Coordinate user acceptance testing of new and continuously improved Prospect to Order capabilities
    • Develop a world class team:

      • Build team through external and internal recruiting and onboarding
      • Set direction and provide oversight, coaching, management, and leadership for the team
      • Responsible for holding Market Readiness team accountable for high levels of performance, tied to program success criteria
      • Mentor, motivate, and develop staff and serve as a resource to them in order to facilitate their professional development
      • Maintain peer relationships across the business to facilitate effective knowledge sharing and avoid duplication of effort


10+ years of training and development experience of geographically dispersed sales teams

5+ years of SFDC training and adoption experience (strongly preferred)

Technology or professional services sector experience (preferred).

Master’s Degree in Business Administration (preferred)

Bachelor’s degree (required
